Guidelines for Ensuring the Safety and Comfort of Infants During Air Travel

Ensuring the safety and comfort of infants during air travel is of utmost importance.

Here are some guidelines for parents traveling with babies:

  • During take-off and landing, infants should be seated on their parent's lap. Additionally, for safety reasons, parents are requested to hold their babies securely on their lap during continued or severe turbulence.

Please note that air travel is not advisable for:

  • Newborn babies who are less than seven days old.
  • Premature babies, unless accompanied by a medical clearance form. This form should be provided by a qualified physician, nurse, or medical attendant, especially for premature babies requiring medical attention.
